Our client provides Consultancy services to the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, nuclear, pharmaceutical, water and power sectors. A vacancy has arisen for a Technical Consultant to work within the power division on a permanent basis.
You will be expected to apply expertise to projects working with input from other engineers to ensure that the delivery of the project is meets the scope, time, cost and quality expected by the business. You will be providing innovative and or technically differentiated solutions to problems to provide an added value for their clients and also providing them with a commercial edge. You will be overseeing the works of more junior staff eliminating errors where required and providing functional support and guidance to them to help them develop as individuals and the capability of the team as a whole. You will also be calling upon your knowledge of new technologies and equipment advances and disseminating this information as appropriate within the group.
You will be an engineer with a degree in a related industry preferably of a chartered status and must have substantial relevant experience within the power industry. You will have expert technical skills and basic project management skills.
