Consultant - Petroleum, Chemistry, London. Our client, an International Petrochemical Testing Laboratory, are currently looking for a Consultant to join their state-of-the-art facilities based in London.
Working as a Consultant, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing high level consultancy and analytical services to the Petroleum industry in the areas of exploration & production, refining, fuels and lubricants and various marketplace issues.
As a specialist consultant, the successful individual will provide expertise to customers in the fields of petroleum chemistry and chromatography based analysis techniques (Incl. GC, HPLC, IC). Your duties will include working closely with customers to develop new analytical programmes and investigation strategies; providing technical leadership in hydrocarbon specification; indentifying and initiating new business opportunities as well as carrying out detailed analysis on fuels and other petroleum products.

To be considered for this role, you will have a degree in Chemistry or a related Chemical Science (or equivalent). It is essential to have demonstrated knowledge of Petroleum Chemistry; strong experience in GC, HPLC and other chromatography techniques in the analysis of hydrocarbon / petrochemical products as well asthe ability to interact with customers at the highest technical level.
