Responsibilities
-External communications support:
-Monitor Hess mentions on mainstream news sites, blogs, and social media
-Monitor and post approved content on Hess Toy Truck fan page on Facebook
-Prepare media coverage recaps; gathering clips as needed
-Draft and update fact sheets, recruiting support materials and other external communications
-Manage local media outreach to support new Dunkin' Donuts self serve installations
-Research journalists/publications using online tools
-Assemble media distribution lists using online tools for targeted news releases or media outreach and monitor coverage

Internal communications support
-Write and proofread newstories that will appear on the company's intranet
-Develop and maintain SharePoint sites for communication initiatives
-Administer and analyze quarterly employee meeting online survey

Qualifications
-Completed at least three semesters into a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
-Strong writing skills
-Solid organizational skills with good follow-through and attention to detail
-Able to meet deadlines while juggling multiple assignments.
-Strong interpersonal skills and a mature bearing
-Proficient in Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
-Experience in marketing, communications, event management or related fields a plus.
