MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: BS in Petroleum Engineering
Experience: Eight (08) years experience in drilling engineering. Extensive knowledge of deep high pressure gas wells and the design of vertical, horizontal and multilateral oil and gas wells. Knowledge and experience in the application of new drilling technology and under-balanced drilling are desirable.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Writes drilling and workover programs for oil development, gas and water wells. Writes well completion reports. Monitors daily drilling operations and provides technical and engineering support to drilling operations. Evaluates new drilling equipment and procedures to reduce cost and increase drilling efficiency. Initiates studies to solve drilling problems and recommends ideas to enhance drilling performance.
