We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Engineering Specialist with our Operations Department. This position is responsible for providing data, information, and support to our engineering and field operations staff; input, maintain, QC, extract, manipulate, and analyze production data; recognize variations/deviations/opportunities from the data; assist with preparation of well workover or new well completion packages/procedures; create and utilize spreadsheets and databases to be used in screening and analyzing data. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 yrs. experience with a strong understanding of oilfield operations. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software (Access, Excel, Word). Strong data management skills with demonstrated ability to build, maintain and extract information from databases Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task. Effective team player who can work with minimum supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skill set. Additional Desired Qualifications: Basic understanding of sub-surface well operations and artificial lift methods. Associate degree or college courses in computer science, engineering or mathematics.
