This position provides analysis, support and development for the Marketing, Refining & Corporate Information Services (MR&C IS) Enterprise Architecture group.

The primary role of this position will be to provide architectural guidance and support for a Microsoft BizTalk and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) environment; including governance, evangelization, and development of best practices among internal staff members. This requires working alongside all MR&C application development groups to provide guidance, periodic coordination and knowledge sharing with the Exploration & Production Enterprise Architecture group, and working with off shore and in house consulting resources to ensure integration standards are being adhered to.

Additionally, this position will interface with other Enterprise Architecture team members to participate in projects as they relate to Master Data Management and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Works closely with IS application developers to understand integration needs, gather business requirements, and architect solutions.

*Identifies and drives development of reusable designs and components for integration needs.

*Develops and/or reviews detailed design specifications, test plans, and use cases for integration requirements.

*Uses BizTalk and SSIS development tools in an enterprise environment. Employs the full development lifecycle to design, and aid in the development and support of systems integration, with both internal and external business partners.

* Responsible for the overall BizTalk environment, including governance, review of integration documentation and deployment of solutions to the production environment.

*Responsible for monitoring of the overall health of the BizTalk development and production environments. Coordinates with infrastructure support provider for BizTalk and SSIS hardware environment monitoring and upgrades.

*Leads efforts in the documentation of existing processes and formulates suggestions/ presentations for improving business processes to support integration and web services initiatives.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline required.
* Masters degree or MBA a plus.
* Minimum of 5-7 years' work experience required.
* In depth experience with Microsoft BizTalk 2006 R2 integration design and development and Microsoft BizTalk 2006 R2 platform administration
* Experience with Visual Basic.Net 2005/2008, .Net Framework 2.0/3.5, WCF
* Experience with web services development and deployment
* Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008, SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedure development
* Experience with Microsoft Visual Source Safe.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of business users and management.
* Prior experience in 3rd party vendor management.
* Analytical skills, which have been demonstrated in a business environment.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, switching priorities and focus as needed.
* Must be able to take the initiative and work effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team.
* Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint for hosting application web parts a plus
* Knowledge of energy and/or retail industry and operations a plus.
