North Slope The role of the Entry Level Operator is to become part of a team that operates one of the several production and utility facilities on the North Slope of Alaska. The entry level job will be the first step in a multi-year progression to become a fully qualified operator for all facets of the facility. During that progression, the operator will develop facility and/or field operating knowledge and skills in the operations and maintenance of North Slope wells and facilities to contribute to the achievement and adherence of all company policies, procedures and HSE standards. Some of these positions may be union-represented positions. BP employees are responsible for transportation to Anchorage without company assistance to board the company chartered flights to the North Slope.
