Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Liaisonman to join our Southern Area oil drilling operation.

The Liaisonman will be the primary liaison between the company and its contractors and will provide supervision of all operations performed on Saudi Aramco Wells.
Minimum Requirements As the successful candidate you will hold one of the following combinations of qualifications and experience:

A Bachelors degree in petroleum, mechanical or electrical engineering with a current certificate in BOP and Well Control and have seven years work experience.

OR

You will hold a high school diploma and 13 years of work experience.

You will have skill and expertise in deviated drilling including short radius horizontal wells, offshore jackup drilling and should have in depth knowledge of top drive units, MWD technology and oil base muds.

You must also have experience in drilling high pressure/high temperature wells as deep as 17,000 feet with heavy mud weights as high as 165 PCF in high H2S concentrations of 20%.
Duties & Responsibilities You will be required to perform the following:

Supervise and oversee all operations performed on Saudi Aramco wells.

Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered.

Coordinate the delivery of materials to the well to ensure availability.

Ensure that contractors meet all contractual requirements.

Work with Drilling and Workover engineers to see that modern drilling practices are followed.

Approve contractor’s daily tour report.

Ensure that contractor’s rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime.
