Geotechnical Engineer, Intermediate

Our Geotechnical Group is recruiting for an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join us in our Calgary, Alberta office.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Prepare of technical proposals and reports
* Mentor and/or direct junior staff on projects
* Design and manage large geotechnical investigation programs, of various scales
* Assist in the development of client relationships
* Undertake a wide variety of geotechnical investigations and design that may include ground improvement programs, foundation design and stability assessments

Qualifications/Expertise:

* University graduate with a degree in geotechnical, geological, or civil (geotechnical) engineering (Master's preferred)
* Currently registered or eligible for registration with APEGGA
* 4 to 8 years of relevant working experience since graduation
* Strong written and oral communication (English) skills
* Proven record of independent work and ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Valid drivers license

Field experience is an asset and some travel will be required.
