Whiting Petroleum Corporation is seeking an entry level Health and Safety Specialist for the Denver Office. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene or science related field and 0 to 2 years industry experience. Oil and Gas internship or experience a plus.
Core Competencies:
* Working knowledge of OSHA’s General Industry and Construction Standards
* Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and working in databases
* A self starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Valid drivers license and ability to travel 10 to 20% of the time
Key Responsibilities:
* Health and Safety data management
* MSDS management and tracking
* Industrial hygiene support and tracking
* ÆRespiratory Protection Program
* SARA Title III Reporting
* OSHA recordkeeping and safety Statistics
* Support of training programs
