Position Title
Internal Auditor

Primary Purpose of the Job:

To plan, direct and maintain the ASES Internal Audit Program ensuring compliance with established policies & procedures, standards and regulatory requirements; reporting audit findings to the ASES Board of Directors and Management for appropriate action.

Education:

Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting

Experience & Skills:

* At least 15 years of experience in Internal Audit
* Expert knowledge of Corporate Governance standards- Ability to apply world-class corporate governance standards for conducting internal audits
* Expert knowledge of Accounting Standards like IFRS- Ability to apply accounting standards like IFRS to internal audits
* Expert understanding of Audit Methodologies- Ability to devise and deploy best-in-class internal audit methodologies
* Advanced knowledge of Risk Management concepts-Ability to identify risk management issues in ASES Understanding of ASES’ role as a holding company
* Ability to define audit requirements in the context of ASES’ role as a holding company
* Analytical Thinking- Ability to apply corporate governance standards and accounting standards to internal audit
* Planning & Organizing- Ability to plan and conduct audit activities within required time-lines, coordinating with required stakeholders
* Professional Integrity-Ability to apply independent judgment for audit assessment and hold own opinion in situations of difference of opinion with Management
