Position Description
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
-A minimum of 1.5 years Oil and Gas Land experience including Lease acquisitions, minor negotiations, and research.
-Computer knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel spreadsheet applications.
-Knowledge of Tobin Land System preferred, but not required.
-Must have analytical and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment .
-Ability to perform routine assignments and tasks with limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
-Evaluate farming requests, lease proposals and prepare recommendations to management for Land Grant and other acreage
-Prepare farmout contracts, Joint Operating Agreements and leases in support of development of the land grant and other acreage
-Assist in due diligence processes for aquisitions/divestments projects/ Process AFEs and set up appropriate internal documentation
-Become familiar with the Federal Unitization process, preparation of participating areas and filing of annual summary of operations
-Responsible for carrying out complex projects and tasks relative to land operations with limited supervision
-Order title and complete title curative with direction from Supervisor
Education:
Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Land or Energy Management, business or other relevant undergraduate degree.
Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.
Relocation:
This position is eligible for domestic or international relocation.
Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 10 - 25%
Work Schedule:
This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule.
