Job Description

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in design and system upgrade projects including retail service stations, petroleum bulk plants, small fueling systems, and fueling systems associated with static appliances such as emergency generators and heating appliances. He/she may also be involved in inspection services including cathodic protection testing, marine facilities inspections, petroleum system troubleshooting and API 653 inspections and certifications. In addition, he/she will also be responsible for providing support services including compliance auditing, tender and bid preparation, design and directing drafting support.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering with at least 10 years of experience related to petroleum systems design and project management.
* Experience should include: project management, permitting and site development, design and inspection of petroleum systems that typically include bulk storage systems, retail sites, emergency generator/heating systems, and all associated piping systems
* Strong presentation and project management skills
* Exceptional interpersonal skills a must as client and team interface is a significant component of this position
* Strong presentation and project management skills essential
* Must have the ability/experience to lead business development activities in Western Canada
* Additional related certifications including API, petroleum equipment manufacturer's certifications and NACE/STI/API Certifications are a plus
* P.Eng. designation or ability to become licensed quickly will be favourably considered; non-engineer candidates with a related bachelor's degree and proven experience completing similar tasks related to tank and fueling systems will be considered
