Petroleum Distribution Operator needed for one of Canada's top 100 Employers

Our customer, a leading manufacturer, distributor and marketer of refined petroleum products has an immediate need for a Petroleum Distribution Operator to work in their Hamilton terminal on a 1 year contract.

Job Description:

As part of this close-knit team you will be responsible for managing the daily functions in a petroleum distribution terminal including:

* Routine maintenance & site checks including stock balances
* Climbing storage tanks to monitor wells
* Conducting driver orientations
* Preparation of work permits
* Data entry of reports
* Limited emergency response

Qualified candidates must have:

* 5 years experience in a similar role
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency with MS Excel
* Ability to work from 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

Required Certifications Include:

* Transportation of Dangerous Goods
* 1st Aid Certification
* WHMIS
* Petroleum Mechanic 3 license is an asset
