Job Description: Devon's Land and Joint Venture Department has an excellent opportunity for a summer position. This opportunity will be of particular interest to students who are presently enrolled in the Petroleum Land Management Program at the Haskayne School of Business. Our summer program commences May 02, 2011 with an anticipated end date of August 31, 2011.

Devon's Campus Program is an integral part of how Devon prepares for the future. The program is designed to provide students with a great work experience within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide support to Devon's Land and Joint Venture Department through the completion ofvarious projects in Administration, Contracts, AFE Administration, Freehold Title and Joint Ventures
* Contribute to other special projects providing exposure to Surface Land, Marketing and Accounting
* Utilize mapping programs to prepare area land and activity maps
* Job shadow Negotiators to gain exposure to their roles within the department and Exploration Teams

Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in the Petroleum Land Management Program
* Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are considered an asset
* Keen learner with effective communication and organization skills
* Enjoy working in a fast paced, team environment
