Fekete is currently searching for a software development engineer/technologist with experience in the petroleum industry.

Our software provides practical and advanced solutions for reservoir engineering and production optimization projects around the world. Each software development team is comprised of engineers, programmers and quality assurance staff who work in collaboration on the development of each product.

Job Description:

* Work with your software team on the development and implementation of new software features.
* Provide technical support and training through web demonstrations, phone support and client courses.
* Provide teaching support.
* Assist the Sales group promote the software through formal demonstrations at client meetings, tradeshows and conferences.
* Assist with research and development.
* Verify technical accuracy of software calculations.
* Prepare technical documentation.
* Prepare technical presentations and papers.
* Travel may be required.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelors Degree in Engineering (petroleum preferred) or Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology.
* 2 + years petroleum experience.
* Excellent communication skills - verbal, listening and written.
* Willingness to work with customers and clients with support and teaching.
* Knowledge of the software development environment is an asset.
* Exceptional analytical skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of self-motivation.Enthusiastic, energetic, strong team player capable of working in and contributing effectively to a team environment.
