This position is offered within the context of the project: Global synthesis of surface conditions and climate trends during the MIS11 interglacial. The project is carried out jointly between the University of Tuebingen and University of Bremen within the framework of the German Science Foundation priority research programme INTERDYNAMIK (www.interdynamik.de).
We are seeking for this data-mining project a motivated and outgoing person with a proven research record and experience in paleoproxies, data management and statistical analysis. The project will involve an extensive communication with the scientific community and the candidate should be prepared to travel extensively. The candidate will be employed at the University of Tuebingen. The employment is full time TV-L E13. Funding is available for one year; an extension of the project is envisaged subject to application. Potential candidates should hold a doctoral degree or equivalent.
