Pressure Control Equipment Supervisor jobs at Weir Oil & Gas Services
Supervises all pressure control department related functions, activities and personnel including In house and field disassembly, inspection, assembly, trouble shooting and testing of pressure control equipment.
Determine the acceptability of components for use as is, repair and recommended replacement parts requirements.
With the assistance of planning department schedules work flow to ensure delivery requirements are met and facility resources are used efficiently.
Ensures and signs off that completed products are acceptable per contract / specifications.
Schedules overtime as needed to meet delivery requirements.
Responsible for closing off the job route cards and completes the job completion summary sheet.
Responsible for quality of repairs and other quality measures such as scrap, rework, and returns costs
Trains, motivates and handles performance matters for all department personnel in co-ordination with Pressure control Manager.
Ensures that all department employees follow safety rules and receive proper training on use of shop equipment. Ensures shop equipment is functioning properly and have proper safety guards.
Performs month safety checks on all lifting equipment and test equipment and handover to HSE Manager.
Performs weekly safety and environmental tool box talks for all department employees.
Ensures that company policies and practices are being complied within the shop area.
Acts appropriately in front of customers to represent the company in a positive manner
Serves as a back-up for pressure control equipment related matters when the manager is not available
Drives improvement of disassembly, inspection, assembly and testing processes within the department.
