The Geological Survey of Canada (Atlantic) is seeking to fill the following position:
* Research Scientist, Sedimentary Basin Geologist
To be eligible, you must hold a Doctoral degree in geology or geophysics or a field of natural sciences related to the duties of the position, demonstrate Productivity/Recognition: Authorship of scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and/or other authoritative reports, maps or open files in the field of sedimentary basin analysis and you must also meet the following experience criteria:
* Experience in developing original contributions to the study of sedimentary basins.
* Experience in the study, interpretation and integration of geoscience data.
* Experience in communicating complex issues and research results in an appropriate manner to colleagues, superiors, clients, and peers.
This position will be located in Dartmouth, NS. Proficiency in English is essential for this position.
The salary range for this position is $49 720 to $124773 (SE RES 01, SE-RES-02, SE RES 03, SE RES 04, SE RES 05); depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate.
