Job Description

An outstanding opportunity has arisen in this internationally recognised company, undergoing a period of sustained growth, for a senior financial controller. Reporting to the divisional CFO you will be responsible for supporting the continued growth and development of the business through leading the implementation of enhanced financial systems and processes across all mine sites.

Specifically this will include:

* implementing appropriate consistent cost control systems,
* enhancing management reporting through streamlining current processes and ensuring effective follow up
* participating in the financial reporting and evaluation of investment projects and improvements initiatives
* improving the financial measurement processes of existing mines and
* reporting and ensuring proper budget application, monitoring and controlling.

In order to succeed in this role you will have, extensive senior financial experience in the mining industry including having spent time in site based financial roles, a sound understanding of SAP and IFRS and an understanding of US GAAP would be desirable

In addition you will be qualified accountant with a relevant degree, possess excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work successfully across cultures. In order to apply you must have the right to work and live in the UK
