A Reputable Oil Company is looking for Senior Reservoir Simulation Engineer for their operations in UAE.
Job Purpose:
• Build and history match reservoir simulation model using latest geological model. Generate production forecasts, optimise well locations and reserves update
Technical input includes the following:
• Integration of geophysical, geological, petrophysical, reservoir engineering and production data for reservoir modelling.
• Documentation and presentation of reservoir simulation model
• Input to continual optimisation of production
• Generation of production forecasts
Accountabilities:
• Prepare short term and long term production forecasts
• Construct dynamic reservoir simulation models (consistent with geological, geophysical and petrophysical studies) as a basis for efficient and optimised development of oil and gas reserves.
• Experience with up-scaling 3D geological models.
• Strong background with integration of geology and reservoir surveillance data into simulation models.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Background in modelling interbedded sand shale reservoirs preferred.
