Job Description

Essential Job Duties:
.Negotiate Oxy-specific and industry-standard terms and conditions in agreements for crude oil and related commodities (excluding refined products), both US domestic and international.
.Coordinate and communicate with traders, mid-office, and other corporate stakeholders to facilitate and finalize trading contracts.
.Handle necessary amendments and/or updates to existing contracts.
.Supervision of, advice to, and development of other Contract Administrators.
.Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
.7+ years experience in negotiating contracts, amendments, and other documents for crude oil and related commodities (excluding refined products), both US domestic and international.
.Experience with Conoco General Terms and Conditions (1993 as amended), BP Oil International General Terms and Conditions (2000 Edition), and other industry-standard terms and conditions.
.Proficiency in Word and Excel.
.Self-starter, willingness to learn and ability to work independently.
.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to coordinate well with numerous company stakeholders.
.Strong organizational skills and ability to supervise, develop, and encourage other Contracts Administrators.
.Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
.College degree strongly preferred.
.Proficiency in other Microsoft applications; PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.
.Familiarity with other industry contracts, both US domestic and international; e.g., brokerage agreements, exchange agreements, and so forth.
.Familiarity with ISDA form agreements for financial transactions.
