We are currently recruiting for coatings, adhesives, specialty polymers and inks based in South East Asia.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Technical Marketing Representative (TMR) will be responsible for the sales and marketing of CASPI (coatings, adhesives, specialty polymers and inks) chemical products into several market segments in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.

The TMR manages existing business, distributors, leads growth projects to potential customers & new applications.

This role has a large component of sales and operation focus; mainly on negotiating business deals; making recommendations on logistics arrangements, credit analyses etc; monitoring the status of existing business; and monitoring accounts receivables.

Education:
A Bachelor‘s degree or Master degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or any related chemical fields.

Personal Qualifications/ Requirements:
Experience/Job Knowledge/Expertise - The incumbent should have minimum of 7 years work experience in sales and marketing or R&D in CASPI or related industry. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate technical skills, to work independently and be highly motivated and result oriented.

Initiative – The incumbent should be a self starter who enjoys meeting with customers and the challenges of working in a competitive environment. The position requires taking initiative to prioritize, to resolve problems and to work with management and other supporting functional organizations such as Technical Service, Supply Chain, Credit and Product Management and Planning to meet assigned objectives. Be able to identify and articulate unmet needs in the market place for market development roles.

Leadership – Ability to influence and motivate other employees or supporting function personnel by guiding them to meet business objectives as well as providing them the means to reach their potential. He/she needs to display a personal commitment to identify skill sets needed to perform job expectations and seek for continuous improvement.

Computer Skills – knowledge of MS Office applications like Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook etc.

Language Skills – Good speaking and writing in English & Mandarin.
·Communication Skills - Strong communication, presentation & negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships at multiple levels in an organization and good interpersonal skills to work with teams.

Teamwork – Demonstrate trust and team work spirit & excellent interpersonal skills.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
A.Meeting or exceeding the annual business plan within his/her responsibility.
B.Development of key accounts target is where the main focus of the position
C.Generating new business through development of new customers and new applications with existing products.
D.Develop and follow through on leads of new business and applications.
E.Managing distributors to exceed yearly targets and execution of development plans
F.Developing sales forecasts
G.Write call reports, sales expenses, monthly updates and other paperwork in a timely manner
H.Gather and disseminate competitive information for respective Business Unit Managers.

You should be able to work independently from Jakarta with solid reporting line to up level management across Asia.

Travel may required for this post. The candidate with overseas market experiences would be prefered.
