Part of Weatherford International Ltd, Weatherford Laboratories performs laboratory based analyses for the oil industry worldwide. Our UK facilities are based in East Grinstead and Winfrith, Dorset. Globally we have laboratories in 18 countries including Norway, Middle East, India, Far East, Australia and North, Central and South America.

Weatherford Laboratories UK Ltd have the following vacancy based at their Core Analysis Laboratory, East Grinstead site.

Reporting to the Core Analysis Supervisor, your role will be to handle and measure core samples, analysing results for feedback to the customer, for which full training will be given. Ideally, you will need to have a Science based 'A' level/graduate qualification or equivalent experience in either Environmental Sciences, Physics, Geography or Geology and IT literacy skills in Excel/Microsoft Office programs. The post is hands-on and requires some out of doors working. A practical approach, a desire to learn new skills, and a willingness to travel are essential.

Hours of work are 37.5 Monday to Friday, however, you will be expected to work the hours necessary to accomplish the role.
